You may remember when we played “Give it Away-deo” our version of “tradeo” for Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets, earlier this week. We asked listeners what they’d trade us in exchange for a pair of really good seats to tonight’s show.
After dozens of phone calls, and offers of pets, signed memorabilia, rare personal undergarments and other bizarre items, listener Devin called us describing a very interesting book. Back in his young and stupid days, he and his buddies broke into the Richardson complex in the Elmwood Village. It was there he “borrowed” a very old ledger from their archives, describing in detail several prescriptions ordered there from 1914-1918.
Despite getting pinched for trespassing, Devin offered us some very unique, historically significant, contraband in exchange for the tickets. After legal looked into it, we realized we’re ok to handle this thing, we had to bring Devin in studio to show us just how cool this book is. Check out the Facebook Live below!
