What’s a Power Ballad? “The musical equivalent of an orgasm. Originated/popularized in the 70s and 80s by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith. Def Leppard and Journey. Generally longer than average rock songs and often consist of a variety of instruments, not just guitars and drums.”
