The long time guitarist of the “E Street Band,” Nils Lofgren makes a return to Western New York this weekend. “The Professor” JP chatted with Nils leading up to his performance this weekend at Seneca Niagara Casino.
Did you know the classic rocker has never seen Niagara Falls in person? “I’ve only seen in it pictures believe it or not, so I don’t even know if I’ll get to see it this trip. I’ve certainly been through Buffalo many times and had a lot of great, fabulous shows there. Dead of winter, nice weather, it’s all been a great audience there so hopefully some people get up to the show and see me Saturday (July 11th) night, I’m looking forward to it.”
Lofgren’s playing a really unique show, featuring acoustic, electric and storytelling elements. He just released a massive, “10 disc, 45 year box set retrospective called ‘Face the Music.” In it, Lofgren hand picked the best of the set, including a DVD, bonus tracks and rarities, a MUST for any E Street band fan.
