Shredd’s Backyard Rib Throwdown is back again on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at TSG BBQ Backyard located at 6272 Seneca St.
Join us for Shredd’s fourth annual Backyard Rib Throwdown either as a grilling competitor or just a bbq lover to help support Children’s Variety Club of Buffalo!
Competitors pay $97, which includes:
- Three racks of St. Louis ribs from TSG BBQ
- An exclusive event t‑shirt
- Raffle tickets for awesome prizes
A portion of proceeds supports the Children’s Variety Club of WNY, helping kids right here in our community.
Event Day Schedule:
- 7:00 AM — Load‑in
- 8:00 AM — Cooks meeting & rib distribution
- 1:00 PM — Battle of the Bills BBQ (Limited supply)
- 2:00 PM — live music begins from The Suits
- 3:00 PM — Rib turn‑in
- 4:00 PM — Awards ceremony
Rules & Requirements:
- Charcoal grills only
- No tow‑behind rigs
- No trailers — everything must fit in your vehicle
- Fire extinguisher optional (but bring one if you have it)
- Water available onsite
- Hot coal disposal cans provided
- Do not dump coals in weeds or wooded areas
- Teams will be escorted across the bridge to the cooking site
- Turn‑in box provided
