1975 was a pivotal year for 97 Rock, pop culture and Classic Rock. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Q-FM-97 (97 Rock’s first name), Saturday Night Live and “Physical Graffiti,” all of whom came to be in 1975.    

97 Rock presents 40 From 40– a look at the 40 most important Classic Rock songs from 40 years ago. You voted for your favorite song from 1975 and qualified to win a pair of tickets to the 97 Rock Weenie Roast, starring Def Leppard, Styx and Tesla at Darien Lake on July 12th.  Congratulations to Jim Gould of Dunkirk, who was our random winner of the tickets.
