AUDIO: JP with Roger Glover of Deep Purple

Can you believe it took over 40 years for Deep Purple to finally get in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?  The Professor talks with the longtime Deep Purple bassist on their long overdue induction into the rock hall.  Why did it take so long?

Roger couldn’t put his finger on it entirely, but “the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is predominately an American affair.  If you’re big in America ban, you’re more likely to get in.”

Induction wasn’t really for the band’s satisfaction, but more for Deep Purple’s close friends and family.  Roger explains, “it doesn’t really matter, it’s ok. We’re playing and doing what we love.  It’s the fans and family and the friends. Without that support, with the public support of the fans, we wouldn’t be anywhere anyway.  So it’s really for them.”

Lots of great stuff with Roger Glover and JP below, including more on their induction and plans for 2016 and beyond.
