We can’t say our first ever countdown of Beatles songs didn’t end in controversy, with “Come Together”, upsetting “A Day in the Life” and “Hey Jude” over the Memorial Day Weekend. We’re celebrating 27 years of Breakfast with the Beatles on 97 Rock, and this year we asked listeners to cast a vote for their favorite Beatles songs while they were voting on the 97 Rock N Roll 500.

Seems likes 97 Rock listeners couldn’t “Come Together” on the top song, but they definitely agree that John Lennon should be in the top spot. It was a blast, and we can’t wait to countdown the Top 28 Beatles songs next year on Breakfast with the Beatles. Check out the full list below:
