With ten games left in yet another lost Sabres season, Morning Bull shifted to the future of the team, rather than the remainder of the regular season schedule.

Can fans expect to see Linus Ullmark in a Sabres’ jersey fulltime next year?  Mike Harrington tends to think that answer is yes, barring a complete collapse in net from the promising young goaltender.

As for their best forward prospect, Casey Mittlestadt, his status is decidedly more murky.  The freshman Minnesota Gopher could turn pro, and sign with Buffalo right now.  Making matters worse, the Gophers are now shopping for a new head coach, which could push Mittlestadt out of the program after just one season in the yellow and red.
