The President of 97 Rock: Do you want the job?

Would you like to be The President of 97 Rock?   

We're looking for our next President- a listener who wants to have a say in running The Mighty 97 Rock.  The President of 97 Rock will receive the following perks and responsibilities:

*A $1,000 cash "Presidential Pension."

*Run 97 Rock for a day where you'll be in charge of the music and "hire" your own DJ's (friends, coworkers and family).

*A Presidential Motorcade to your day job where you'll be chauffeured in a limo and accompanied by a fleet of 97 Rock vehicles, covered live on the radio. 

*A lunch meeting with the Norton in the Morning staff.

*A new 97 Rock wardrobe, including T-Shirts and staff jacket.

*A coffee/donut break at your workplace delivered by Carl Russo.

*Pick the songs for an entire weekend episode of "Breakfast With The Beatles" and co-host that show with J.P.

*Go to a Bills game with Slick Tom and visit the broadcast booth to meet John Murphy. 

*Your own 97 Rock celebrity "ID" voiced by Alice Cooper.

*A pair of tickets to every 97 Rock Movie Premiere in 2009.

Here's how to enter the race for President of 97 Rock:

Collect 97 signatures of friends, neighbors and/or co-workers on a "97 Rock Presidential petition."  Petitions must be turned in at 97 Rock's studios by September 30th.  All petition submissions must be set up by appointment by calling Jickster at 888-9758.  

Simply create your own "petition" or click here and print the screen version petition that we've posted.

All qualified candidates will be included on 97 Rock's on-line Primary Ballot with voting from October 7-14th (Super Tuesday).

The two candidates with the most on-line votes will square off in an Election Day match up of November 4th.

The candidate with the most votes at the conclusion of the November 4th contest will be "elected" The President of 97 Rock.
