Jimmy Griffin was Buffalo’s mayor for 25 years, serving his city from 1978 to 1993. Delivering such memorable quotes as “grab a six pack and stay home”, leading the city through the Blizzard of 1985, and helping bring baseball back to downtown Buffalo cemented Mayor Griffin as one of the regions most revered public servants.
