AUDIO: Buffalo Beatles Tribute’s heading to UK

You may not have heard of BBC Band, but you’ve certainly heard of The Beatles.  The BBC Band is a Buffalo based Beatles tribute, and they’re heading to the home of the Beatles for a very special week of shows.  They’ll be headlining a week of tributes at “Cavern Club” in Liverpool, the place the Beatles cut their teeth on the streets of their hometown in the ’60s.

They’re not slouches, either.  Check out a show from a few years ago:

Drummer Gary Astrige’s commitment to the Fab 4 goes beyond just reinterpreting their music on the stage, he’s an official Beatles drum gear collector, restorer, and distributor too.

Over the course of many years, his Beatles’ Ludwig drum collection grew and grew, and eventually he became the purveyor of several reissue Ringo Starr signature Ludwig snare drums, retailing for over $30,000 a piece.
