AUDIO: Mike Lesakowski’s 11 Day Powerplay is Back

Almost everyone in WNY remembers last summer when our very own Jickster, along with 39 other guys skated at the Harborcenter for 11 straight days, a world record, to help raise money to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Since then, the world record for the longest hockey game has already been beat, by a group of guys in Edmonton.

So Mike Lesakowski, the founder of the 11 Day Powerplay is back, rallying hockey players from all over western New York to help beat the record again, while also raising money for Roswell, Camp Good Days and the Make A Wish Foundation.

Mike joined Morning Bull to promote the final days of sign ups for this year’s event, and talk about how he still hasn’t completely recovered from last year’s odyssey.
